About

Whether you are facing an immediate crisis, or looking to address longstanding challenges, it is a brave step to reach out for help. I will meet you where you are, with warmth, constancy and without judgement, and collaborate with you to identify your goals and a plan to meet them. I will work to help you recognize, develop and harness your innate strengths to meet the challenges you are facing. We will address any immediate concerns, while also pursuing deeper exploration to build greater understanding, growth and resilience. My hope is that you will gain the tools to be able to meet new challenges long after you have left therapy. I have previously worked at Headlands Psychotherapy Group, Tamalpais High School and the Wright Institute Older Adults Clinic. I am an experienced EMDR practitioner, and also have specialized training in Internal Family Systems and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and in working with older adults and adolescents. I also bring lived experience as a woman in midlife, a spouse, and the parent of two adolescent children. I would be honored to have the opportunity to work with you, and look forward to hearing from you.
